Hi, I'm Rob Spaven.

Spaven Scalextric Events started when I bought a £10 Scalextric set from a charity shop, while living on the Isle of Wight in 2012. After a few brilliant evenings running slot car competitions with friends, I arranged a tournament in a local pub which was a sell out! My Scalextric collection grew over the following years and I began to organise larger events of my own, as well as being asked to run slot car circuits at others' events.

Slot car racing is a fantastic activity for bringing people together; it is accessible for people of any age, experience, ability and interest. Slot car racing offers an opportunity for play, for anybody who would like to take part.

Now based in County Durham, but operating countrywide, Spaven Scalextric Events offers something unique for any event. We can hire out equipment, provide entertainment at events (parties, weddings, corporate and more) or build you a bespoke private circuit for your home or business.
